The beef rendang was incredible, as was the sauce with the chicken satay. The staff were lovely and we had a good table for chatting. The noodles were so flavorful, great spice level!
This place might look unassuming from the outside, but it’s a cozy spot with excellent food and friendly service. The portion sizes are just right, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu design looks a bit basic, but don’t be fooled—the food is fantastic. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available.
Very glad I stumbled on this place serving some unique food. I have been here twice and liked it both times. The lady behind the counter is very sweet and friendly. I have had the satay (very tasty), spring rolls and the beef rendang. All were delicious. If the sparkling kumquat drink is available the day you go, get it! Very refreshing bright citrusy drink.
The atmosphere was charming, the staff was great, the food was fantastic, and this place even had great customers! When my wife and I arrived, so did another large party that could not be seated right away, so a small family insisted they would leave so the larger family could be seated. Now WOW, this food was REALLY good. For whatever reason the quality was such a surprise! We couldn't wait to recognize this place and really kept thinking this was the type of place to explode in popularity because someone popular online makes a video here or they end up on TV somehow. Anyway, they will be VERY popular soon. For all the right stuff. Beef satay, chicken padang, fried garlic chicken, and egg rolls. We'll be back for everything else!
Fried chicken is the best dish we ordered today, highly recommended! Also we like the chip. Lamb Satay is not as tender as I thought. Wishing the seafood can be fresher so I dot a point. All in all, glad we found Barzar Eatery.
Barzar Eatery has a really clean, welcoming space with a relaxing atmosphere. The service was amazing—friendly, attentive, and fast, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Soto Madura chicken soup. The presentation was great and the portion was generous. The flavor itself wasn’t quite my personal preference, but that may just be me and the specific dish I chose—everything else about the experience was solid. Overall, it’s a nice spot with wonderful service and a beautiful, tidy setup. I’d still come back to try other dishes that might fit my taste better.
The food was great! We ordered the rendang ayam and laksa, and the pork satay with the peanut sauce are all delicious. As an Indonesian, I feel like the food was very authentic. The owner, Sam was very friendly and the service was overall great! Would love to come back soon. Terima Kasih Sam!
